Ready for the Training?

Once you’ve completed all required onboarding documents and signed your employment contract, it’s time to move on to the next steps to ensure you’re fully certified and compliant.

Please make sure to complete the following: Pediatric First Aid & CPR Certification and Fingerprinting & Background Check, Four State-Required Child Care Trainings and the
Internal Daycare Compliance Trainings.

Pediatric First Aid/CPR

Pediatric First Aid/CPR is required. Please send an email to Deb Heustis, her email is debra.huestis@gfcmsu.edu

Fingerprinting

New staff members have two options for completing their fingerprinting requirements:

  • Option 1: Spark Learning Lab Montana. Visit Spark Learning Lab for fingerprinting services.

  • Option 2: Teton County Sheriff’s Office – Choteau. Call to schedule an appointment: 406-466-5781

Initial Training

Register for the Montana Early Childhood Practitioner Registry at www.mtecp.org

After you register, please create an account Childcaretraining.org. You are required to complete the following four classes below.
